Systems Engineer (Field Operations) - Intern

About the position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Systems Engineer (Field Operations) Intern. This role focuses on providing sustainment program support, including integration, logistics, and sustainment plan creation for the lifecycle of products. The intern will ensure the systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into viable solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment program support including integration and logistics.
• Create sustainment plans and support requirements for product lifecycle.
• Analyze the sustainment system product from concept to disposal.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain from an accredited college.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Tableau.
