About the position

We are looking for a Systems Engineer Enterprise to work closely with a Major Account Manager Enterprise in a defined territory. The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales. This role is crucial in ensuring that our sales team is equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and support to effectively engage with customers and partners. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, serving as the main technical resource during sales calls, and providing post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of our solutions. In the pre-sales phase, the Systems Engineer will assist in qualifying sales leads, ensuring that potential customers are a good fit for our solutions from a technical perspective. During sales calls, the Systems Engineer will educate customers and partners on various technical aspects, including features, specifications, functionality, and integration of our products. This requires a deep understanding of networking applications and solutions, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information in an accessible manner. Post-sales, the Systems Engineer will act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, addressing any technical issues that arise and collaborating closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve these issues. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will provide training to customers after the sale to ensure they are fully equipped to utilize our solutions effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and a commitment to delivering exceptional technical support throughout the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint during pre-sales.
  • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers and partners on features, specifications, and functionality.
  • Provide insights on integration and networking applications and solutions.
  • Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts post-sales, addressing technical issues and collaborating with support and engineering teams.
  • Provide post-sales training to identified customers.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 5 - 7 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus.
  • Strong understanding of protocols including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
  • Strong presentation skills.
