About the position
City First Bank N.A. is a mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) focused on transformative impact in underserved urban markets. The Systems Engineer I will provide technical support to the bank's infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, network, cloud, and systems. This role involves working with the internal technology team and external partners to implement and support key business systems, ensuring excellent customer service and swift resolutions to issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the bank's infrastructure and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with vendors as needed.
- Consult and integrate existing hardware, software, and network configurations for end-users.
- Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring availability and performance.
- Work with vendors to resolve issues related to external systems used by the bank.
- Document support issues, system configurations, and business requirements.
- Drive objectives associated with Problem Management, including customer communication and Root Cause Analysis.
- Provide technical expertise for successful project and change implementations.
- Generate periodic utilization reports for performance and SLA management.
- Assist operational teams in system updates and upgrades, including patch management and hardware/software upgrades.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement compliance controls and requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT experience.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong experience with Windows Server / Active Directory and Windows desktop administration.
- Experience with systems administration, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policies, network management, firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Experience with Citrix, VMware, virtual servers, SAN Storage, and High Availability.
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, MS Teams, VoIP, and telephony.
Nice-to-haves
- Regulatory compliance experience preferred.
- Previous banking experience a plus.
