About the position

SAIC is offering internship positions for rising college juniors or seniors in the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) for the summer of 2025. Interns will engage in systems support, design, and sustainment activities on a government radar system, working closely with subject matter experts in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to document and update legacy hardware and software systems
• Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents
• Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK

Requirements

• Pursuit of Bachelors Degree in a STEM related degree field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
• Must be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Nice-to-haves

• Systems principal architecture knowledge
• Knowledge of operating systems
• Networking tcp/ip, firewalls
• Cloud computing understanding (AWS, Azure, etc)
