About the position

The Systems Engineer, Named Enterprise will collaborate closely with a Named Account Manager to support the sales organization in all technical aspects related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities. This role is crucial for ensuring that technical solutions meet customer needs and for providing ongoing support to identified accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint during pre-sales.
  • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers and partners on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
  • Provide technical support for identified accounts post-sales, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve issues.
  • Conduct post-sales training for identified customers.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 5 - 7 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Proven understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus technologies.
  • Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES protocols.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.

  • Graduate Degree favorable.
