Falconwood, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer (Pre-Award) to support the modernization and sustainment of Marine Corps supply and maintenance functions. This role involves the development of a web-based user interface that provides an integrated and distributed logistics capability, enabling leaders to effectively plan, manage, execute, and monitor logistics operations from both garrison and forward deployed environments. The position is contingent upon award and requires a proactive approach to engineering development activities, focusing on the implementation of various Systems Engineering and Test Engineering initiatives. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for creating a testing framework and defining testing parameters based on input from the product design team. This includes monitoring the process using the testing framework, keeping detailed progress records, and troubleshooting as needed. Additionally, the engineer will assist in revising current Systems Engineering processes and help develop policy regarding the implementation of Agile methodology and DevSecOps principles across the portfolio. In this role, the Systems Engineer will lead and assist in the development, execution, review, and update of Requirements Traceability Matrices, System Subsystem Specifications, Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Test Reports, while overseeing verification and validation processes. The engineer will also assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) and Master Test Strategy (MTS) artifacts, as well as participating in T&E Working-Level Integrated Product Team (WIPT) charters. Collaboration with the Government and development teams is essential to institute and integrate Agile framework concepts, activities, and processes. The Systems Engineer will support SETR events across a portfolio of programs, leveraging knowledge of the USMC/Navy System Engineering Technical Reviews process. Strategic recommendations and requirement analyses will be provided in the form of white papers, Business Case Analysis (BCA), technology and business roadmaps, and by engaging in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as required by the Program Office. The role also involves ensuring that Systems Engineering processes and disciplines are seamlessly integrated into Program Operations, performing engineering analysis and assessment of proposed requirements changes, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), design issues, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Finally, the Systems Engineer will prepare or assist in T&E status reports and presentations for T&E Government leads or other stakeholders, and present programmatic and required technical information to executive-level clients.
