About the position

The Senior Systems Engineer (NetApps) at ManTech is responsible for protecting national security by providing mission-focused IT services. This role involves analyzing user requirements and system architectures to develop specifications, managing the technical integrity of system baselines, and resolving complex technical issues related to server hardware and software integration. The position requires a strong background in systems engineering and experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, updating it as changes occur during the lifecycle.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
• Implement comprehensive Service-oriented Architecture.
• Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process.
• Configure and manage Linux & Windows operating systems, troubleshoot, and maintain network components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• NetApps experience.
• IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start date.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 20 years related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Senior Linux scripting, Linux, servers, CentOS 7 and 8, Red Hat 8.
