About the position
CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to join our customer Program, focusing on designing and developing application solutions. The role involves migrating and rebuilding existing applications from legacy platforms to a more robust infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on analyzing customer requirements and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.
- Select and evaluate COTS/GOTS tools and integrate them with both new and legacy systems.
- Design, create, test, and maintain software-based applications to satisfy customer requirements.
- Follow a formal design process using specifications, data flow diagrams, and accepted design techniques.
- Adhere to laws, standards, and established guidelines for software development and delivery.
- Coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components for site design integration.
- Design and develop user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
- Develop and maintain software development technical documentation for application maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Resolve software problems and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Proficiency in Java 8+ and Java 11 for ATO purposes.
- Experience with Angular JS, Tomcat 9, MySQL 8 (including SQL queries), Hibernate, Maven, Eclipse, and Elastic Search.
- Familiarity with Linux commands.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Confluence and Jira.
- Knowledge of Angular and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with Jasmine (test framework), Apache Tika, LDAP, SMTP, JUnit, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3).
