About the position

The Systems Engineer Senior IT - Platform Administrator is responsible for designing and supporting secured IT infrastructure, serving as a subject matter expert in various technologies. This role involves managing file transfer systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the availability and scalability of IT services. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to implement changes in a production environment following established methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Axway Secure Transport Administration including account setup, transfer sites, routes, file tracking, credentials, and certificate management
  • Progress MOVEit Administration including account setup, transfer sites, routes, file tracking, credentials, and certificate management
  • Solve technical issues including file transfer failures, connection issues, and server operations
  • Documentation of implementations (New, Modify, & Decommission)
  • Workload Management based on CPU, Memory, Storage, & Throughput
  • Edifecs development including Xengine configuration within EAM, artifacts configuration, and mapping
  • Edifecs support including troubleshooting issues using SQL, EAM, DB knowledge, and trace logging
  • Edifecs architecture design for new data flows
  • EDI analysis using healthcare X12 knowledge to create mapping documentation and gap analysis
  • Implement changes into production environment following change control methodology
  • Conduct technical design and reviews based on architectural guidance
  • Responsible for project execution, solution, and building
  • Serve as problem-solving partner and cross-train others
  • Proactively manage availability and scalability
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Experience with specific domain relevant to team

  • Experience in Axway Secure Transport
  • Experience in Progress MOVEit
  • Experience with Edifecs Healthcare 9.x suite
  • Experience with XEngine, XEngine Server, EAM
  • Experience with more advanced features of Edifecs such as Batcher and Counter
  • Experience with HIPAA X12 837, 834, 835 and 277CA
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Service Now
  • Experience with enterprise server clusters
  • Linux capabilities
  • Networking experience, including AS2, SFTP, PESIT, HTTPS protocol
  • Familiarity with SSL/SSH Certificates, SSH Cypher/Algorithms and PGP encryption
  • Familiarity with RESTful API calls
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience working in an environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
  • Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
  • Understanding of security implications of domain
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
