About the position

The Systems Engineer position focuses on designing and managing cloud-based communication systems that comply with Department of Defense (DoD) standards. The role requires expertise in systems engineering, particularly in DoD projects, and involves both technical design and integration responsibilities. This position is hybrid remote, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate cloud-based communication system architectures in alignment with DoD requirements.
• Conduct system analysis, modeling, and risk assessments to ensure reliable and secure operations.
• Document system designs, prepare technical reviews, and support system integration, testing, and validation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on DoD projects, including cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and standards, with experience in systems integration and formal DoD documentation.
