About the position

The Systems Engineer position at a large growing defense company in Connecticut involves supporting the architecture of complex systems and subsystems in the development of high technology products. The role requires expertise in Model Based Systems Engineering and familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS, focusing on ensuring compliance with customer and military specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and apply customer and military specifications to ensure product and project compliance
• Develop and manage requirements, including the use of DXL scripts, to support configuration control of customer and supplier requirement modules
• Generate design reports for formal customer submittals of requirements modules
• Support current Cameo based Model Based Systems Engineering efforts as a local site lead developer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• 4+ years of engineering experience
• Defense experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS
• Model Based System Engineering experience
