Responsibilities

  • Identify stakeholder needs and define solutions that meet those needs.
  • Elicit and articulate primary needs sources into statements for opportunity or problem identification.
  • Design, specify, verify, and validate solutions.
  • Define solution packages, components, and elements in detail for functional verification and design identification.
  • Create traceable allocation matrices from Needs Statements to Validation results.
  • Identify and articulate solution behavioral and functional architecture as a system of interactions and performance states.
  • Define objective parametric elements and values for interactions, states, and transitions.
  • Apply industry and client standards in all processes.
  • Recognize and conform to industry and client safety training, procedures, and responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in systems engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering or a relevant role.
  • INCOSE ASEP completion preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 and INCOSE principles and practices.
  • Proficient knowledge of systems thinking, including interdependency and systems analysis.
  • Proficient knowledge of Computer Aided Design and relevant applications.
  • Skilled in mathematics corroborations, decision dependencies, and strategic alignment.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in communication and teamwork.
  • Skilled in time management and organizational capabilities.
