About the position
The Systems Engineer position at Robert Half offers an exciting opportunity to work with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) client in Moses Lake, Washington. This full-time, on-site role involves administering and maintaining the client's IT infrastructure, including server and desktop environments. The Systems Engineer will serve as the escalation point for a Tier II level Help Desk team and will coordinate with higher-level engineers based in Spokane.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining O365, Windows Server & Desktop environments for optimal performance.
- Handling TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Group policy, and Exchange operations, ensuring basic understanding and efficient management.
- Managing and maintaining VMware environments and basic network technologies such as wireless access points.
- Leveraging Active Directory for access management and control across the network.
- Providing clear and effective communication to team members and customers alike, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient in Active Directory
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies
- Experience with VMware
- Advanced understanding of Group Policy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
- Ability to manage DHCP - DNS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server
- Experience with Windows Desktop Technology
