About the position

The Systems Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) client, primarily focused on administering and maintaining IT infrastructure at a client location in Moses Lake, WA. This full-time on-site role involves overseeing server and desktop environments, acting as an escalation point for a Tier II Help Desk team, and coordinating with higher-level engineers from the Spokane office.

Responsibilities

• Administering and maintaining O365, Windows Server & Desktop environments for optimal performance.
• Handling TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Group policy, and Exchange operations, ensuring basic understanding and efficient management.
• Managing and maintaining VMware environments and basic network technologies such as wireless access points.
• Leveraging Active Directory for access management and control across the network.
• Providing clear and effective communication to team members and customers alike, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in Active Directory
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Experience with VMware
• Advanced understanding of Group Policy
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
• Ability to manage DHCP - DNS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience with Windows Desktop
