About the position

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA and St. Louis, MO. The role involves designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems, coordinating system development, and contributing to engineering projects. The engineer will develop solutions to various engineering problems and ensure the security and maintenance of systems throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
• Oversee moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Maintain continual security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a poly.
• Linux system administrator experience.
• Scripting / Coding experience (Bash, Python, etc.).

• Automation and Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng) experience.
