About the position

In-Depth Engineering is seeking multiple Systems Engineers to support the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) program. The role involves system engineering efforts associated with AEGIS air defense, surface defense, and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). Engineers will primarily work at the customer site in Moorestown, NJ, with travel to WSMR for integration and test events multiple times a year.

Responsibilities

• Utilize agile methodologies to design engineering solutions.
• Analyze missile launch-event data and verify performance against expected behavior and requirements.
• Assist with missile launch-event setup and testing.
• Develop solutions for complex mathematical and physics-based problems.
• Responsible for algorithmic design, data analysis, requirements development, modeling and simulation, and software integration and testing.
• Conduct system trade studies and analyses of alternatives.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into a total system solution that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Requirements

• BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with developing test plans and complex systems integration.
• Experience with decomposing customer requirements for developing a product.
• Experience with DOORS, SysML modeling, and Matlab is a plus.
• Experience with the AEGIS combat system is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain DoD secret clearance.
