About the position

The Systems Engineer position at CACI involves working within a diverse team of RF systems engineers to design, develop, and evaluate complex signals intelligence, radar, and communications systems. The role emphasizes collaboration and innovation, contributing to cutting-edge solutions for advanced RF applications. The engineer will be responsible for technical programs, customer interface, and all aspects of prototype/product system design and development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate complex signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems.
• Engage in system engineering and advanced research and development for product design during pre-delivery phases.
• Participate in customer interface, requirements development, and design reviews.
• Contribute to technical interchanges and all aspects of prototype/product system design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.

Requirements

• US citizenship due to the nature of the work and contract requirement.
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance due to contract requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience developing and implementing real-time system architectures for applications such as signal detection, geolocation, and radar processing.

Nice-to-haves

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field.
• Experience with the development and integration of prototype and/or production RF mission systems.
• Experience with the development and integration of RF mission payloads into manned and/or unmanned airborne platforms.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
