The IT Sr Systems Engineer I position serves as a senior technicalrole within the IT department. Candidate will possess theself-motivation, experience, and skills to serve by providingtechnical insights driving the design, implementation, andoptimization of complex systems under the guidance of a PrincipalEngineer or Manager. Collaborates with IT architecture to definestrategy and work with various teams to implement high qualitysystems to meet business requirements. Delivers and supports ITinfrastructure, product and platform solutions. Designs anddelivers complex IT system initiatives, to include cloud, non-cloudand hybrid-cloud systems. Influences other IT teams, leadership,enterprise business partners, vendors and project/design teams, inall aspects of the secure & reliable hosting of applicationsthroughout Exelon's large & complex enterprise and real timeoperational environments. -- Responsibilities would involve management of all aspects of Activedirectory which include the management and policies securing useraccounts, Administrator accounts, service account and genericaccounts. As well as maintaining and updating security baselinesfor all Wintel servers via Group Policy. This also includesmanagement of identities and roles in Microsoft Azure and OracleOCI which maintain are servers and services in the cloud. Otherresponsibilities also include management and high availability ofthe company's Single Sign On configurations for applications,network DNS, DHCP and LDAP environment through our data centers andoffices, Management of Azure MFA (Two factor authentication) andcreating and maintaining role-based access for Azure resources. -- Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remoteflexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least threedays per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Consults with leadership, architecture, project teams and end usersto identify system requirements and perform feasibility analysis onpotential changes related to existing and future security andtechnical architectures. Writes and disseminates systemspecifications, logical & physical architecture diagrams, andimplementation plans. Delivers practical, efficient, andcost-effective solutions that satisfy business needs, includinghands-on configuration, troubleshooting and optimization andsupporting metrics for the same.-- Work closely with others to develop future plans, resourcerequirements, migration strategies, and project schedules. Createsand delivers presentations to Engineering and Architecture ReviewBoards. Design, support and maintain custom system integration withother platforms, specific to the needs of the customers. Ensure allrisks and issues are identified and are captured following setprocess and are actioned appropriately. Bachelor's Degreein Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networking 4 - 7years' experience in IT infrastructure design, application design,cloud computing, disaster/recovery, or 6-9 years of relevantexperience Demonstrated ability to design and document processes ≺ocedures Maintained experience with Microsoft Active Directory - 2016 andabove (creating and editing group policies, Group creation, userprovisioning/attributes, Certificate Authority and PKIs, DNS, DHCP,DFS, Azure administration including Azure RBAC permissions, AzureSubscription creation, Azure B2C creation, Azure MFA, Azure SSPR,Azure AD SSO federation. Creating automation using Powershell-- Drives innovation by leveraging alternative perspectives andemerging technologies to deliver creative solutions Demonstrated ability to deliver work aligning to project managementprinciples & framework Demonstrated ability to provide financial impact analysis Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Solid understanding of thecapabilities of standard monitoring tools. Can make informeddecisions on monitoring settings such as sample size, level ofcriticality, and some self-healing opportunities. Cloud Technologies: Build and maintain knowledge of newtechnologies or technology opportunities and assists in developmentof analysis of their use for business and/or IT clients Scripting & Automation: Able to use PowerShell, Ansible, or anotherappropriate scripting tool to automate common tasks/create reportsand troubleshoot issues with existing scripts Deeper understanding of programming languages, and an ability tosolve engineering problems of increasing difficulty.
