About the position

The Systems Engineering Analyst / Mobile position is focused on supporting the implementation and analysis of mobile technology solutions, specifically hand-held scanners used in package delivery. The role requires a blend of network engineering knowledge and systems analysis skills to ensure effective operation and integration of mobile computing technologies within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network problems related to mobile technology.
• Analyze system capabilities and develop workflows for mobile computing solutions.
• Define requirements and establish metrics for system performance.
• Assess and implement network technologies, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Document system processes and maintain clear communication with team members.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of engineering work experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• General knowledge of routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Ability to troubleshoot network problems effectively.
• Understanding of network topology development and assessment.
• Familiarity with GPS, cellular service, and Bluetooth technologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic programming skills.
• Proficient in Excel with strong data analysis skills.
