About the position

The Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager at Anduril Industries will lead a multidisciplinary team in the design, integration, and testing of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). This role is crucial in advancing subsea robotics technology and requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage performance, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and foster a positive team culture. The manager will also be responsible for defining technology strategies and ensuring successful project outcomes in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and specialists in AUV design, integration, and testing.
• Manage team performance, including balancing priorities and conducting performance reviews.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and field test engineering teams for cohesive design and evaluation.
• Define technology, tools, documentation, and process strategies across technical domains.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
• Foster a positive and high-energy team culture.
• Deliver innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years in hardware or integrated product development and/or test, including management of technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders across various technical areas.
• Strong background in Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment and sustainment.
• Experience with AS9100, MIL-STD 810, IEEE15882.1, or equivalent QMS and rigorous environmental test standards.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel to customer events and demonstrations up to 1 week at a time, several times a year.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. top secret security clearance.
