About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer / Lab Administrator to support mission-critical projects in national defense, particularly in military satellite communications systems. This role involves managing lab resources, ensuring the security and performance of software products, and collaborating with an Agile development team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system administration for Valley Forge Test Berth (Test Laboratory).
• Act as COMSEC Custodian for the program.
• Perform PKMA CPSO functions for KTE systems.
• Maintain security posture and access control for the test berth.
• Manage assets allocated to the test environment.
• Serve as the primary contact for test berth status and issue reporting.
• Support the execution of automated tests to validate software quality and security.

Requirements

• Experience with Windows System Administration, including troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprints and collaboration with product teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 2 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with no professional experience, or equivalent experience/education.
• Security+ Certification.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• COMSEC system administration experience.
• Familiarity with DCSA auditing processes.
• Experience supporting the execution of test plans and managing test environments.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress or similar frameworks).
