About the position

As a Systems Engineering Support Analyst specializing in Configuration and Product Data Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all technical data related to systems or equipment under configuration control is meticulously managed. This position requires a deep understanding of Configuration Management (CM) principles, as you will be responsible for developing, recommending, and maintaining CM practices, policies, and procedures. Your work will support various aspects of planning, identification, preparation, reviewing, releasing, controlling, changing, and providing the status of technical data throughout the lifecycle of the systems you manage. In this role, you will establish the goals of the CM process and coordinate effectively with relevant personnel to ensure that any configuration changes are properly identified and tracked. You will be responsible for monitoring the status of each item throughout its lifecycle management, ensuring that all changes are documented and adhere to established CM practices, policies, and procedures. This includes reviewing released engineering change data and ensuring compliance with the required Configuration and Data Management Plan. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the configuration data, which is crucial for the successful operation and management of the systems. You will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days onsite each week, which allows for collaboration with your team while also providing flexibility in your work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, recommend, and maintain CM practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Support planning, identification, preparation, reviewing, releasing, controlling, changing, and providing the status of all technical data related to the system or equipment under configuration control.

Requirements
