About the position

The Systems Integration and Test Engineer position at Actalent involves working with a large Aerospace/DoD company to perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation of systems. The role requires a strong engineering background and offers a flexible work schedule with full-time benefits, including paid vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Conduct analyses at all levels of total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Integrate software and hardware, validate and verify software changes, and perform system updates.
• Work hands-on with lab systems and tactical radar systems.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree
• Testing & Troubleshooting experience
• HW/SW Integration or I&T experience
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or Bash
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
