About the position

The Systems Integration Engineer - Robotics Controller Development at MAXISIQ is responsible for leading the integration of robotics controllers within the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the HMIF common controller meets requirements for a smooth transition to the Program of Record office after prototype development.

Responsibilities

  • Leading Controller Integration.
  • Working and interfacing with stakeholders across the HMI enterprise.
  • Developing HMIF Common Controller interface requirements and design.
  • Coordinating transition plans with stakeholders.
  • Advising and coordinating engineering and technical support activities for the Common Controller sub-system development.
  • Providing integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations to technical problems.
  • Participating in the development and execution of test strategies.
  • Engaging in Common Controller budgetary discussions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field.
  • 10 plus years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in requirements development and decomposition.
  • Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software.
  • Experience in engineering integration of systems of systems, system and sub-system level.
  • Experience in ICD and IOP development.
  • Testing experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.
  • Superior writing skills for developing technical system-level specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering briefings to senior leaders.
