About the position

The Systems Integration Engineer - Robotics Controller Development role at MAXISIQ involves leading the integration of robotics controllers for the Army's Human Machine Integrated Formations project. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the common controller meets all requirements and facilitates a smooth transition to the Program of Record office after prototype development. The engineer will be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary solutions to technical challenges and participating in the development of test strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Leading Controller Integration.
  • Working and interfacing with stakeholders across the HMI enterprise.
  • Developing HMIF Common Controller interface requirements and design.
  • Coordinating transition plans with stakeholders for the Common Controller sub-system development.
  • Advising and coordinating engineering and technical support activities.
  • Providing integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations to technical problems.
  • Participating in the development and execution of test strategies.
  • Engaging in Common Controller budgetary discussions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in requirements development and decomposition.
  • Past experience in user interface design, hardware, and/or software.
  • Engineering integration of systems of systems, system and sub-system level.
  • ICD and IOP development experience.
  • Testing experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.
  • Superior writing skills for developing technical system-level specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering briefings to senior leaders.
