About the position

The Systems Integration Engineer, Senior position at CTR Group involves performing systems engineering tasks related to the design and integration of weapon systems. The role requires expertise in various engineering disciplines, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and airworthiness, to ensure that systems are operationally safe and effective throughout their lifecycle. This hybrid position allows for both in-office and remote work, focusing on the development and maintenance of processes that assure full integration and operational readiness of systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering tasks including design and integration of weapon systems.
• Assist in developing, deploying, and maintaining processes for system integration and operational safety.
• Understand and execute USAF Airworthiness standards and processes.
• Apply OSS&E and airworthiness processes, providing risk assessments and safety analysis.
• Review and analyze program-specific databases and BIT failure reports for accuracy.
• Provide system integration guidance to aircraft program offices.
• Conduct performance effectiveness, cost performance, and life-cycle cost assessments.
• Assist in the development and review of the overall system design baseline.

Requirements

• Master's degree in an ABET accredited engineering discipline with twelve years of experience, five of which must be in the DoD environment.
• OR Bachelor's degree in an ABET accredited engineering discipline with fifteen years of experience, five of which must be in the DoD environment.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes including system definition, development, integration, and airworthiness certification.
