About the position
The Lockheed Martin Chelmsford, MA facility is seeking a motivated System Integration and Test Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of test consoles. This role involves architecting new test stands, designing test solutions, and developing algorithms for complex automated test equipment systems. The engineer will ensure reliable product testing that meets customer requirements, collaborating with various teams and supporting existing test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support architecting new test stands to system level requirements.
- Design test solutions and develop algorithms and techniques.
- Support complex digital, RF, and microwave custom automated test equipment systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing installed test equipment on the production floor.
- Collaborate with engineering and program management teams to ensure alignment.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Understanding of electronic components and communications protocols.
- Ability to perform hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with NI LabView and/or other software development tools.
- Experience with common measurement and test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under general direction.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic understanding of fundamental RF concepts such as S-Parameters and modulation.
- Experience in effectively working on teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
