About the position

The Systems Manager will oversee the management and coordination of the Qmlativ maintenance districtwide, support the implementation and use of the Qmlativ Student Information System (SIS), and assist in state and federal reporting. This role involves providing software support and training for district and school staff, ensuring accurate maintenance and management of student records, and leading initiatives to improve district-wide business practices through process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the student records system, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
  • Provide training for building staff responsible for Qmlativ functions, including user management and report generation.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to identify opportunities for process automation and manage projects from design through implementation.
  • Assist school personnel with Choice Transfers and Homeschool procedures, ensuring compliance with district policies.
  • Compile and process monthly enrollment information and Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) data.
  • Serve as the district liaison to OSPI data and assessment services and ESD 112 for district records management.
  • Assist buildings staff with families and students Qmlativ access issues, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the district's student records and systems management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Tools, Adobe, Qmlativ, and similar programs.
  • Strong communication skills, including preparing and delivering effective training and presentations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • A combination of education, training, Qmlativ data management experience, and automation project experience.
