About the position

The Systems Network Engineer L3 position at Honu Services involves designing, implementing, and managing complex network systems within a collaborative environment. The role focuses on supporting system management tasks and the deployment of enterprise-wide network architectures integrated with Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, integrate, and deploy enterprise-wide network architectures.
• Support system management tasks for complex, distributed networks with multiple classification enclaves.
• Manage network devices including switches and routers, server operating systems, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Implement and configure performance management technologies such as SolarWinds and VoIP telephony.
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and manage security systems like DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS).
• Oversee server disaster recovery and data protection measures.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience supporting a DOD program as a Senior Network Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field.
• Possess IAT/IAM Level II certification.
• Certifications such as Juniper Network Certified Professional (JNCIP), CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Log Management and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Knowledge of advanced disk subsystem and networking configuration.
