About the position

The Systems/Network Engineer, Senior (CSfC) at ActioNet is responsible for developing, designing, configuring, and implementing data networks based on customer specifications and performance criteria. This role requires a strong background in virtualization and security solutions, as well as the ability to integrate and test systems within existing infrastructures. The position is based on-site in Honolulu, HI, and is integral to supporting the Federal Government and the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Preliminary Engineering Implementation Plan.
• Configure and implement virtualization solutions and security solutions based on the customer's performance criteria and specifications.
• Configure, test, deploy, and maintain VPN gateways, firewalls, and encryption appliances.
• Conduct systems pre-tests and acceptance tests to validate the designed performance criteria.
• Structure mock designs based on RFP specifications.
• Integrate and test systems into existing infrastructure.
• Design secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Organize and develop complex, technical solutions that address customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8-12 years of experience in systems/network engineering.
