About the position

The Systems Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring both development and production systems to ensure their functionality. This role involves responding to incidents by following predefined procedures for quick resolution, providing support for applications and databases, and coordinating technical procedures to address production issues. The analyst will also engage in root cause analysis, implement solutions, and maintain documentation related to production support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor development and production systems to verify functionality.
• Follow predefined procedures to resolve incidents quickly.
• Provide intermediate support for applications and databases.
• Coordinate and execute technical procedures to resolve production issues.
• Monitor production systems for alerts, outages, and system issues.
• Research issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize risk.
• Implement solutions for issues and development initiatives.
• Ensure support requests are resolved within service level agreements.
• Communicate statuses and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Write and update production support documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations.
• Assist in implementing changes to systems and processes.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business partners.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years related work experience.
• At least one year of Information Technology experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS development and operating requirements.
• AWS developer or architect certifications preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
