About the position

The Systems Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the retirement savings systems for millions of customers globally. This position involves providing production support for portfolio management and trading operations, ensuring that applications and databases function optimally. The analyst will monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong relationships with business partners while participating in special projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate support of applications and databases for software.
• Coordinates and executes technical procedures to resolve production issues after evaluation.
• Monitors production systems for alerts, outages, and system issues.
• Researches issues and performs root cause analysis to minimize risk.
• Implements solutions for issues and appropriate development initiatives.
• Ensures that support requests are resolved within the service level agreements.
• Communicates statuses and resolutions.
• Writes and updates production support documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations.
• Assists in implementing changes.
• Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business partners.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years related work experience, with at least one year of Information Technology experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of the AWS development and operating requirement.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS developer or architect certifications are preferred.
