About the position

Embark on an Exciting Cybersecurity Journey as a Cybersecurity Analyst 2! Under the expert guidance of the SSO Operations Manager, you will be a key player within our dynamic Security Operations team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst 2, you will masterfully oversee a diverse array of security systems and tools, serving as a go-to technical expert. Your role is vital in safeguarding our network on a statewide/enterprise scale. You'll be at the forefront, vigilantly monitoring network traffic to pinpoint potential security incidents and threats. With your sharp analytical skills, you'll swiftly address and mitigate risks, enhancing our defense against cyber threats. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our security posture by identifying and rectifying vulnerabilities. Your contributions will be instrumental in strengthening our cybersecurity framework. Your expertise extends beyond technical skills. You will craft comprehensive documentation for cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems, translating complex concepts into clear, user-friendly guides. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, your documentation will be crucial during incident response and recovery activities. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and procedures for information systems/network security.
  • Knowledge of defensive measures for computer network defense.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles and methods.
  • Training in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a similar field.
  • Professional experience in database, network, or system administration.
