Responsibilities
- Installing and supporting multiple Oracle Solaris and Linux systems.
- Troubleshooting to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Researching and recommending software or hardware solutions.
- Monitoring and tuning system performance.
- Managing system security.
- Coordinating UNIX and Linux software installations.
- Supporting SANs and SAN Fabrics.
- Scripting for system management.
- Diagnosing software issues.
- Assisting users with problem resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an Information Technology related field (relevant work experience can be considered as an alternative).
- 5 years of experience managing enterprise Unix and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure, and security principles.
