About The Position
The Sr Z/OS Systems Programmer (MFA Admin) is responsible for managing various types of databases within legacy systems, including hierarchical, relational, and file-based databases. This role involves planning and upgrading database environments, ensuring database health, and providing technical consulting for application and operations teams. The programmer will also conduct performance evaluations, develop database designs, and implement backup and recovery procedures, among other responsibilities.
