About the position

Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba CiviTek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. CiviTek is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, Inc. (FCCC). This is an entry-level position that provides business and technical support for the Civitek IT Project team. The position will work with other team members to execute projects according to project plans and technical specifications. The role will assume responsibility as directed for components of overall project plans ensuring design, development, quality assurance, and ongoing application maintenance for Civitek IT technology projects follow business rules, technical specifications, and industry standards to contribute to the completion of projects managed by the IT Project team. Additionally, this position will perform in the role of an application trainer for both internal and external clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, designing, developing, and implementing projects for the Civitek IT Project team.
• Write technical development specifications and monitor project-related tasks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
• Work and coordinate concurrent activities on projects and participate in the quality assurance process.
• Analyze and document business requirements of assigned projects, including legislative requirements and enhancement requests.
• Create use cases for the development of enhancements, new functionality, and new applications.
• Participate in technical reviews with the development team prior to application coding changes.
• Perform software quality assurance for new functionality or applications.
• Create test plans for new application functionality and/or new applications.
• Act as an escalation point and assist in troubleshooting complex software and/or database issues.
• Assist the service desk staff and project team staff in diagnosing incidents reported by counties.
• Perform analysis on issues, including executing SQL queries to evaluate and determine the extent of issues and develop proposed solutions.
• Conduct user training and provide user documentation assistance as needed.
• Train Civitek trainers on new functionality and/or applications.
• Train Implementation Leads/Trainers on configuring and code table setup required for new functionality and/or applications.
• Participate in pre-sales product demonstrations and marketing support.
• Facilitate open lines of communication with management staff, team leads, coworkers, Clerks' offices, and the general public.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in IT or related field and two years of computer and/or technical related experience.
• Proficient in software design/architecture, configuration management practices, and SQL.
• Training/Teaching experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of clerk of court operations, business process flows, application software utilization, and related workflows.
• Knowledge of Civitek applications and their integration with internal and external applications.
• Experienced in software application design principles and business/technical requirement documentation methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in use case creation and configuration management practices.
• Experienced in troubleshooting software application and database issues.
• Strong analytical, logic, and reasoning skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
