About the position

The Systems QA Engineer at The AES Group is a critical role focused on enhancing the quality of the Beats headphones and speaker product experience. This position involves collaboration with QA and development engineers to drive cross-functional testing efforts, ensuring high standards of quality across all product lines. The engineer will be responsible for test planning, execution, architectural investigations, debugging, and issue resolution, contributing significantly to the overall system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional testing efforts for improving systems across all product lines.
• Plan and execute tests to ensure quality in the Beats headphones/speaker product experience.
• Investigate architectural improvements and provide recommendations.
• Analyze existing code for automation improvements and identify limitations affecting system stability.
• Debug and resolve individual issues within the system.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of systems quality assurance testing experience.
• Very strong Python development experience at intermediate to expert level of test automation.
• Ability to analyze existing code and suggest improvements for automation.
• Knowledge of wireless standards (Bluetooth Classic/LE, WiFi) or sensors.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, test methodologies, and tools.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and command-line tools for debugging and automation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to organize tasks, activities, and reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Configuration Control Systems, preferably Git or similar.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
