About the position

nfinity Technology Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Systems Responsibility Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time position is crucial for the development and testing of cloud infrastructure solutions that are not only desirable but also viable, feasible, and sustainable. The SRE will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our cloud computing environments meet the needs of our customers and support a critical national asset. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure administration and development, which will be essential in coordinating capability details with various stakeholders. In this role, the Systems Responsibility Engineer will leverage both company and industry best practices to implement a modernized mission infrastructure solution. The engineer will work closely with design and technology teams to ensure that testing implementation plans align with expectations and that all requirements are fully understood. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential, as the SRE will need to provide clear and succinct answers to complex questions. The successful candidate will have experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps environment and will be able to collaborate effectively with team leads on priorities and resource sharing. Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, and Terraform, as well as containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, is critical. Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, particularly Jira and Confluence, will also be beneficial. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, along with an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure testing is acceptable for timely and quality released product capabilities and fixes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Agile DevSecOps Development Methodology
  • Knowledge of infrastructure development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps environment
  • Ability to collaborate with team leads on priorities and sharing resources
  • Strong communicator able to provide clear and succinct answers to difficult questions
  • Knowledge of automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, and/or Terraform
  • Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Familiarity with/ability to quickly learn the Atlassian tool suite, specifically Jira and Confluence
