About the position

GeoLogics Corporation is seeking a Systems/Software Integration and Test Engineer to join their team for the SDA O&I/GMI program. This role is critical in developing and deploying a state-of-the-art ground operational system. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that focuses on integrating and testing software and systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, and requires a strong background in ground operations, satellite communications, and software engineering. The engineer will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to design, implement, and validate system functionalities, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. This role also involves utilizing Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness, as well as applying DevSecOps practices to streamline development and operational processes. The engineer will engage in test automation and CI/CD pipeline development, contributing to the overall success of the program by ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy ground operational systems for satellite communications.
  • Integrate and test software and systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system functionalities.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
  • Apply DevSecOps practices in the development and operational processes.
  • Engage in test automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Provide expertise in missile warning and missile tracking system integration and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field (Science, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Knowledge of satellite communications and ground to satellite communication systems.
  • Experience in ground operations.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and platforms such as AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline development and test automation.
  • Familiarity with missile warning/missile tracking system integration and operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agile experience preferred.
