About the position
The Systems Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the correct integration of hardware and software products while meeting quality standards and stakeholder requirements. This role involves leading system test and verification activities, performing Requirements Verification testing for electronic controls used in Rheem Air and Water products, and analyzing system and subsystem requirements. The engineer will develop test cases, test plans, and test setups, automate test cases, and conduct testing for both Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for assigned projects. Additionally, the candidate will lead a small team of engineers in these efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead system test and verification activities for hardware and software products.
- Perform Requirements Verification testing for electronic controls used in Rheem Air and Water products.
- Analyze system and subsystem requirements to develop test cases and test plans.
- Create test setups and automate test cases for efficient testing processes.
- Conduct testing for Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for assigned projects.
- Lead a small team of engineers in testing efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in systems testing and verification activities.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software integration.
- Ability to analyze system and subsystem requirements effectively.
- Proficiency in developing test cases, test plans, and test setups.
- Experience in automating test cases.
