About the position

CACI is seeking a Systems Testing Analyst to design and execute test plans related to various software applications. The role involves recording and documenting test results received from various customers throughout the client space and detecting software failures to ensure that reported defects can be discovered and corrected in a timely manner. A qualified candidate will actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement, demonstrating a strong dedication to quality and communication throughout the testing process. This position will serve as a liaison to the business community and participate in unit and system testing to maintain the customer’s perspective while fostering client relationships at a peer level. The Systems Testing Analyst will be responsible for assisting team members in cost reduction, knowledge capital, and work product/service test activities. This includes identifying issues and providing status updates on the scope of work while understanding the roles and responsibilities of both self and team members in contributing to business objectives. The candidate will also assist team members in completing their work or acquiring necessary skills, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Typically, the Systems Testing Analyst will be accountable for the results of team efforts by maintaining workflows, quality standards, and meeting deadlines. This position requires strong communication skills, as the analyst will engage in frequent client interfacing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of previous information technology experience. Familiarity with development activities in unit/system testing, analytical and debugging skills, and excellent time management skills are essential to meet customer deliverable dates and ensure business needs are met. Familiarity with test result evaluation and reporting is also required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Excellent time management skills to meet deliverable dates.
  • Familiarity with test result evaluation and reporting.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform analysis and projects to improve overall quality of work products and processes.
