About the position

The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile, an Authorized T-Mobile Retailer, plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales. This position involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions in a fast-paced retail environment. RSRs are brand ambassadors who embody the T-Mobile spirit and are responsible for building relationships, educating customers about products and services, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
  • Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of technology.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Become skilled in using digital tools for customer interactions and onboarding.
  • Complete training on T-Mobile in-store experience and new skills.
  • Handle cash and store operations as needed.
  • Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
