About the position

The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile serves as a brand ambassador for T-Mobile, engaging customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating the latest technology to meet customer needs. RSRs are expected to complete training and develop skills to enhance the customer experience while contributing to team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers continue their shopping journey seamlessly, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology and explore individual customer needs.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to demonstrate T-Mobile's coverage and services effectively.
  • Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and continuously seek information to improve knowledge of wireless innovations.
  • Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads to appropriate channels.
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
