About the position

The Mobile Expert (ME) position at GP Mobile, an Authorized T-Mobile Retailer, is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. This role involves working as part of a retail team to promote the T-Mobile brand, engage with customers, and provide exceptional service while driving sales. Mobile Experts are expected to build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products and services. This position serves as a stepping stone towards a Retail Associate Manager role, emphasizing skill development and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
• Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
• Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
• Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
• Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Become skilled in using digital tools during customer interactions and onboarding.
• Complete training on T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, and processes.
• Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
• Identify and handoff small business leads.
• Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
