About the position

The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile serves as a brand ambassador for T-Mobile, engaging customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating the latest technology and services. RSRs are expected to immerse themselves in the customer experience, helping to identify needs and recommend solutions while continuously developing their skills through training and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance customer interactions and onboarding.
  • Complete training on T-Mobile in-store experience and new skills.
  • Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
