About the position

Orion Mobile is seeking a Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) to foster long-term, trusting relationships with our customers, specifically focusing on a portfolio of new wireless retail stores. The BDAM will be responsible for signing up, training, and overseeing these stores to ensure their positive performance while actively seeking new sales opportunities. This role requires building relationships with store owners, managers, and sales staff, addressing dealer queries, and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers. The BDAM will also collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience. Candidates should be familiar with account management software (CRM), possess strong client communication skills, and have a solid understanding of consumer behavior. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, capable of meeting ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas, and thrive in a dynamic sales environment. As part of our Outside Sales team, the BDAM role offers unlimited earning potential through commissions and a competitive salary. Responsibilities include developing trusted advisor relationships with accounts, communicating progress on initiatives to stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory. The role also involves assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with accounts (Wireless Retail Locations)
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or sales
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to work outdoors in all adverse weather conditions
  • Engaging interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Familiarity with account management software (CRM)
