About the position

As a Retail Associate Manager with Verge Mobile, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by assisting the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the team of store sales associates. This position requires an enthusiastic leader who can multitask, pay attention to detail, and is passionate about helping both employees and customers. The role offers opportunities for personal and professional growth through leadership and management skills programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager in leading, developing, and motivating the location's sales team.
  • Assist in the overall store operations while being accountable for personal/store sales.
  • Effectively manage customer traffic visiting the store and balance wait times.
  • Stay current on all products, services, and promotions, and assist Store Manager in educating others.
  • Ensure the location is fully staffed at all times.
  • Assist Store Manager with recruiting new talent to the team.
  • Ensure store compliance with T-Mobile merchandising requirements.
  • Support store operations and ensure compliance with guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service industry (wireless retail sales preferred).
  • Knowledge of wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sales and sales management experience.
  • Operational and financial management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Positive, supportive, and cooperative attitude.
  • Team player capable of working well with staff and store leader.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in wireless retail sales.
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology.
