About the position

The T-Mobile Retail District Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple retail locations and managing a team of Wireless Sales Representatives and Store Managers. This position focuses on driving sales performance, team development, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. The District Manager will play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and motivating staff while ensuring that all locations meet performance metrics and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and motivating top talent to maximize gross profit and key performance metrics.
  • Delivering top-notch results for all locations within the assigned area.
  • Serving as a role model for store managers and demonstrating a professional, high-performing, ethical image.
  • Building high-performing sales teams through effective recruitment and training.
  • Leading by example and ensuring effective scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and being an agent of change.
  • Ensuring in-store presentation standards are maintained to carrier audit standards.
  • Demonstrating leadership in resolving customer and team member concerns as the first point of escalation.
  • Building strong relationships and communication lines with carrier personnel.
  • Ensuring communications from senior management are understood and implemented by all staff.
  • Protecting company assets by following established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Open work availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Background check required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods in a retail store environment.
  • Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license.
