About the position

As a Retail Mobile Sales Associate with Verge Mobile, you will connect with customers and deliver exceptional service by selling T-Mobile products and services. This role focuses on making personal connections, understanding customer needs, guiding purchase decisions, and problem-solving to enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers and deliver exceptional customer service by selling T-Mobile products and services.
  • Make personal connections and explore customer needs to guide their purchase decisions.
  • Problem-solve customer issues and stay connected with them for ongoing support.
  • Complete new employee training successfully and build skills for advancement.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
  • Approach service and sales needs with care, patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Balance customer service experience with performance goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service industry (wireless retail sales preferred).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Excellent communication skills for building trusting relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of wireless industry standards and technology preferred.
  • Positive, supportive, and cooperative attitude.
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in wireless sales is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and innovations in wireless.
