About the position

The Data Analyst role at Beacon Hill Technologies involves performing detailed data analysis to ensure adherence to data quality guidelines. This client-facing position requires the analyst to conduct full lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, and the development of analytics and reporting capabilities. The analyst will monitor performance and quality control plans, identify improvements, and communicate complex findings to clients in an understandable manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive data analysis to ensure adherence to data quality guidelines.
• Conduct full lifecycle activities including requirements analysis and design.
• Develop analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
• Analyze client business data deficiencies and formulate data-driven solutions.
• Present findings and conclusions to clients in an easy-to-understand way.
• Write functional specification documentation and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Transform complex data into easy-to-follow reports using tools like SSRS, PowerPoint, or Excel.
• Create repeatable jobs and procedures using MS SQL Server to gather and analyze data.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to analyze and provide solutions for data issues.
• Prioritize competing client requests to focus on high-impact activities.

Requirements

• Senior level experience with SQL Data Analysis and SQL Querying.
• Experience working with SQL daily and ability to write complex queries.
• Experience in writing functional specification documentation.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across the enterprise.
